  • Turmeric

Turmeric has an active agent called curcumin, a powerful antioxidant.  This agent kills carcinogenic cells and reduces the size of  tumor present. It reduces  joint inflammation. From ages it is also used as a household antiseptic.

  • Cloves :

Indians commonly use this spice to treat tooth problems because of its  anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Cloves relieves vomiting, indigestion loose motions and an upset digestive tract.

 

  • Cinnamon :

A common woody spice use in our kitchens are diabetic-friendly reduces the symptoms of insulin resistance. Cinnamon is used to relieve common cold, indigestion and abdominal muscular cramps

 

  • Cardamom

Cardamom is used for gastrointestinal protection. Other benefits include relief from cardiovascular issues, indigestion, and improvement of blood circulation in the body.Its a home remedy for urinary tract infections. Cardamom is known to  possess aphrodisiac properties therefore it is  used as a cure for impotence, erectile dysfunction, and premature ejaculation
 

  • Saffron :

The first thing that comes to our mind hearing this name is the gentle royal flavour and the delicate colour of saffron. In India, Kashmir is the largest producer of saffron.The major benefit of usuage of saffron is during pregnancy as it provides  relief from digestive issues because of  its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant effect

Saffron has the ability to treat depression, with itsanti-depressant properties.
 

  • Nutmeg :

Nutmeg is known for its anti-bacterial properties. Nutmeg improves your memory. This spice has an  ability to reduce flatulence and improve appetite

 

  • Fenugreek

 Fenu greek is better known to control diabetes as it is rich in fiber.During lactation it also acts as an lactogogus food which help on milk production.

It reduces cholesterol levels and boost immunity too.

 

  • Black Pepper :

Ages before black pepper was used to trade for gold for its flavor and health properties. Black pepper stimulates the production of acids in the stomach, which in turn helps in digestion. Also black pepper reduces blood pressure.
 

  • Coriander

 The antioxidant properties in coriander seeds helps relieve oxidative stress in diabetes. Coriander seeds are proven beneficial  in curing different skin diseases like eczema, rashes, dry skin due to antiseptic properties.
